About Christy
My passion is guiding people through whatever legal question, concern, or situation life brings their way. I started Christy Brown Law so individuals and small business owners could get that guidance from a lawyer who knows them personally. As a solo practitioner, I work with every client myself, from the first phone call to the final document.
I spent the bulk of my career as in-house counsel to an entrepreneur who owned and managed multi-million-dollar companies across a variety of industries. That work gave me a practical, business-minded approach to contracts, employment matters, buying and selling companies, and the everyday decisions that keep a business running.
I also have experience in family law. As a certified mediator, I focus on finding compromise and saving clients money by resolving disputes without going through the court system.
I graduated magna cum laude from Kennesaw State University in 2006 and cum laude from Georgia State University College of Law in 2009. Outside my practice, I have served with multiple nonprofit charities and currently serve as an officer on the board of a nonprofit education organization.
